MajorGen (“we”, “us”) provides AI-powered resume and cover-letter generation. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, application, and our connector for third-party AI agents.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name and email address when you create an account.
• Content you provide: resume text, job descriptions, and related details you submit to generate documents.
• Usage and payment data: documents you create, credit balance, and billing records (payment card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us).

How we use your information

• To generate, store, and let you manage your resumes and cover letters.
• To process payments and provide customer support.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.

Third-party services

We share data with service providers only as needed to run MajorGen: AI model providers to generate content, Stripe to process payments, and cloud hosting (AWS) to run and store the service. These providers process data under their own terms and only for the purposes above.

Connecting third-party AI agents

You may connect a third-party AI agent to your MajorGen account using OAuth. When you approve a connection, the agent can access only the scopes you consent to (for example, reading, creating, or purchasing downloads for your resumes). We do not share your password with the agent, and you can revoke access at any time.

Data retention and your rights

We retain your data while your account is active. You may access, correct, export, or delete your data, and you may close your account, by contacting us. We will delete your data within a reasonable period after account closure, except where retention is required by law.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.
